Santo Nino

Here is Santo Nino Chapel which is a short distance from El Santuario de Chimayo. It is predominately decorated with religious folk art on the chapel but on the gate they've updated with some contemporary doves and a larger than life Hallmark angel! (A companion angel is on the other gate.)

A Sighting in the South West

Well we've been on the road for a week and I have a few things that I want to share with you. Here's a find in Las Vegas, NM that made me stop and ponder..... is it more disturbing or more fascinating? I think a little of both, especially with those glass eyes staring down at you!

Pasadena Advertising Smiles

When I saw this one, all I could hear was the lady in the old Burger King ad saying "Where's the Beef".  

.....and "The Father of all Buns" is in Old Pasadena, in case you ever wondered where he resided.  I'll have to check out his buns soon :)
 

"Designer" Restaurant in LA

The flat sinks in the restrooms are a nice touch and even work amazingly well. The fun bar definitely grabs you.  Philippe Starck always knows how to make a statement.
