Loved the scale of this one, note the person on the right. This one was by Patrick Doughtery for an art project at the University of Kansas and was built by the students. We also saw an installation at Wieden and Kennedy about 5 years ago, by him. They are such great projects, but I think the one you found in Phoenix must be a different artist?

OMG Pat, it's the same artist! I just checked past exhibits at the Desert Botanic Gardens in Phoenix and it IS Patrick Dougherty. His exhibit was called Childhood Dreams. There's a link (you'd think I'd learn by now how to do that oh well) that has some great shots of the exhibit! I'm so glad we have our blog:)
